Here’s all the information you need about transportation, accommodation, booths, competitions in the following section. Please read it thoroughly,
and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

WHERE?
Discover the breathtaking Ballymaloe Grainstore, a distinctive venue located in the picturesque East Cork countryside. Surrounded by vibrant greenery, rich history, and a creative atmosphere, it provides an ideal backdrop for an intimate gathering of 40 artists. This weekend event allows artists all kinds to connect and showcase their talents, featuring a array of unique styles.
ACCOMODATION & TRANSPORTATION
We highly recommend booking your accommodation in Cobh, where we will provide transportation to Ballymaloe (see timetable in the next section) If you choose to closer to the convention, please be aware that you will need to arrange your own transport, either by car or taxi. The convention is located in County Cork roughly a 40-minute drive from Cork city, nestled in beautiful countryside. Alternatively, Midleton offers a regular bus service from train station to Ballymaloe, though these buses will start running later in the morning primarily for customers heading to the venue.
Taxis are also available and will take about 15 minutes to reach the location.
Transportation to and from the venue will be available in the morning and evening at scheduled times, so it is essential to arrive time for the bus. Please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for anyone who does not arrive punctually or fails to read the information provided.
HOW DO I GET TO COBH?
To travel from Cork Airport to Cork City Center using public transport, follow these steps:
1. Take the bus from Cork Airport to Cork City. Head to Bus Stop A and board the Bus Éireann Service 226,
which stops at Parnell Place Bus Station and Kent Train Station.
2. From Cork Kent Station, catch the train to Cobh. Trains operate every 30 minutes and the journey takes
approximately minutes.
Alternative option:
You can also get off the bus at Parnell Place, walk to the bus stop on Patrick's Quay and take the bus 'Cobh Connect' . It will take you directly to Cobh.
BOOTH & SET UP INFO
SET UP TIME IS FRIDAY FROM 6PM - 9PM
The booth will measure approximately 2x2m and will include two chairs, one large table, one small workstation table,
paper towels, and a bottle of water. We will also provide a small welcome kit with various supplies.
You can rent your bed directly from us, contact us to reserve one. Please remember to bring electrical adapters and lights.
TATTOO COMPETITIONS
SATURDAY 23RD:
5pm
BEST SMALL TATTOO: This tattoo must be smaller than A4 (21x29cm) and can be in color or black and grey.
Any tattoo style is accepted, but it must be started and completed at the show on Saturday.
8pm
BEST OF DAY (SATURDAY): This category can include any size, color, or style, but the tattoo must be started and finished at the show on Saturday.
SUNDAY 24TH:
5,00pm
BEST LARGE TATTOO: For tattoos larger A4 size, any style and color are welcome. Collaborations between artists are encouraged. You are welcome to bring tattoos on stage that were started prior to the convention, as long as they show visible progress made during the event, whether it's a bodysuit, sleeve, leg piece etc.
BEST OF DAY (SUNDAY): This can be any size, color, or style, and collaborations are permitted, but it must be started and finished at the show on Sunday.
